After 3 years of dancing with SCVDA, my daughter has learned so much more than just how to dance. She has made new friendships, and gained confidence and courage that has helped her in other areas of her life. The instructors provide an educational environment in which to learn, while still focusing on having fun. The highlight for our family each year is recital time.  It is so entertaining and so much fun to watch!  I would recommend SCVDA to anyone who is excited about learning to dance!

This will be our daughter’s 5th year with SCVDA and for the past three years, my husband has danced with our daughter in the Dads & Dolls routine. All of the instructors have been caring and thoughtful. They are very concerned for the children’s welfare and well-being and focus on the kids having fun, but yet learning and enjoying their dance routines. I believe focusing on the “fun” of dance helps a child learn and grow in truly appreciating the “Art” of Dance.

Ms. Melanie, and her staff, have always been there to listen to the needs of their students and families. I truly appreciate all of the hard work and dedication that they have, and continue to have, at SCVDA.
